Welcome to Singapore! We land at the Changi International Airport where a transfer to the hotel awaits us. Check-in and free time at your disposal.

day 2

Singapore gardens

SINGAPORE

Today we explore together the vibrant city of Singapore. Let's immerse ourselves in its rich history, culture, and unique lifestyle. We walk along the picturesque Singapore River, discovering the British colonial district and the Merlion Park, located at the river's mouth. We continue our journey to Chinatown, where we admire the majestic Sri Mariamman Temple and the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple. Finally, we head to the Singapore Botanic Gardens, the city's 'green lung', and the National Orchid Garden. In the afternoon, you will have free time to explore at your leisure.

Singapore at night

SINGAPORE – MALACCA

Our tour continues with the departure for Malacca (Malaysia). The journey takes about 5 hours, depending on traffic conditions. Once we arrive at our destination, we admire the ruins of the fortress A Famosa, the Dutch square, and cross the bridge over the river to stroll along the streets of old Malacca. Visit to the Baba & Nyonya House Museum. We also visit the Cheng Hoon Teng Temple, the oldest Chinese temple in Malaysia, and the Kampung Kling Mosque, the oldest mosque in Malacca. At the end, check-in and overnight stay.

MALACCA – KUALA LUMPUR

After breakfast, departure for Kuala Lumpur. The car transfer takes about two hours. Upon arrival, check in. At 13:45, pick up at the hotel and start of the city tour. The tour is an orientation drive around the capital to learn about the history, culture, and architecture of Malaysia. It includes a drive through the Lake Garden with stops at the National Mosque and Independence Square, the center of English life during the colonial period, along which the most important buildings are located. From here, a walking tour to visit the Central Market and Jamek Mosque (externally only) the oldest in Kuala Lumpur, built in the heart of the old city, on the spit of land that separates the two rivers and which has witnessed its birth. Free time to explore the Chinatown district; at the end, transfer by bus to the Kampung Baru district where you can observe houses in typical Malay style. The tour ends with a stop to take a photo at the Petronas Towers.

KUALA LUMPUR – CAMERON HIGHLANDS

We will depart between 8:30 and 9:00 AM directly from the lobby of your hotel, heading to Cameron Highlands. The journey will be an experience in itself, as we will travel along a scenic road through the jungle. We will take a break at an Orang Asli dwelling, the native people we will meet along the way. Once we arrive at Cameron Highlands, we will have the opportunity to visit a tea plantation. After the visit, we will proceed with the hotel check-in, where we will spend the night. We look forward to this unforgettable adventure.

CAMERON HIGHLANDS - BELUM RAINFOREST

Between 8:30 and 9:00 AM, we will set off on our journey to the 'Bukit Merah Orang Utan' Foundation island, the only orangutan research center in Peninsular Malaysia. A short 20-minute boat ride across the lake will take us to the island, a sanctuary dedicated to the care and breeding of Orang Utans and a conservation, research, and education center to protect this endangered species. After visiting Bukit Merah, we will head for about an hour towards the regal city of Kuala Kangsar, where we will have the opportunity to visit the Ubudiah Mosque. Subsequently, we will venture into the Belum Rainforest Reserve, located near the border with Thailand, a journey that will take about 3 hours. Once arrived, we will check in at the Belum naturalistic lodge, where we will have dinner and spend the night.

Penang

BELUM RAINFOREST – PENANG

At 9:00 AM, we will start our adventure with a two and a half hour hike in the beautiful Belum forest, a true gem of Malaysia, rich in pristine wildlife and flora. During the tour, you will have the opportunity to enjoy a light packed lunch. At 1:00 PM, we will return to the resort to proceed with the check-out. At 2:00 PM, we will set off for Penang. Once we arrive on the island, we will check into the hotel. Please note that an entry permit is required to access the Belum State Park. Therefore, we will need a copy of each participant's passport 14 days in advance. We recommend bringing comfortable walking shoes, a raincoat, a backpack, a hat, and sunscreen.

day 9

Penang

PENANG

After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, we will dive into a full day of exploring Penang. We will start with a visit to the Thai Buddha sleeping temple and the Burmese temple, then move on to the Kek Lok Si temple and Fort Cornwallis, the ancient fortress built by Sir Francis Light, the founder of this British settlement. We will have the chance to admire the fascinating colonial architecture of the nearby palaces. We will continue our tour with a visit to the Khoo Kongsi, a magnificent Chinese Clan House, and the Botanical Garden. At the end of the tour, we will transfer back to the hotel for an overnight stay.
