The land of the Ganges river and the desert, of ancient trade routes and the Taj Mahal. In India, you discover a country intense and full of contradictions. The chaotic and wonderful Delhi, the sacred cows, the strength and vastness of the desert, and the sacred and erotic art of Hindu and Jain temples. You admire the world's tallest brick minaret, the imposing mosques, the abandoned cities, the Buddhist temples, and the astonishing palaces of those who have ruled or still rule today. Discover the spirituality of Varanasi and the holy city of the Hindus. Witness the rituals on the Ganges where life and death meet, closing the circle.

What You Will See
In India, you will be immediately welcomed with a Mouli, the red cotton thread that is tied around the wrist during ceremonies. You will visit the Jama Mosque, the largest mosque in Asia. You will participate in a rickshaw tour through the narrow streets of the famous spice market of Old Delhi. You will visit the memorial of Mahatma Gandhi. You will admire the sunset among the dunes of the desert while riding a camel.
You will discover the ghats, the typical staircases of this country that descend into a body of water, and you will witness the purification of the faithful at dawn. You will take part in a boat excursion on the Ganges River and witness the Aarti ceremony, the Hindu ritual dedicated to the sacred Ganges. You will see one of the seven wonders of the modern world: the Taj Mahal. Returning from India, you will not be the same.
Some must-see stops on our travels:
Delhi A city with more than 16 million inhabitants, divided into two parts: the old city with narrow, busy streets and buildings huddled together, and the new city with modern districts, designed at the beginning of the 20th century.
Jaisalmer The “Golden City”, so named because of the color its buildings take on at dusk, constructed of intricately carved wood and golden-yellow sandstone.
Agra The city built by the great Mughal Emperor Akbar, with the famous Taj Mahal, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the 7 wonders of the modern world, and the Agra Fort.
Orccha Which means "Hidden Place," a small village nestled among well-preserved palaces and temples. Among these is the fascinating complex of Hindu and Jain temples, a UNESCO heritage site, famous for their erotic sculptures based on Tantrism.
The best time to visit India
India is ideal to visit during the winter period from November to March, when the weather is cooler and drier. Avoid the monsoon season, between June and September, especially if you want to explore the north of the country and the Himalayas.
