What You Will See

In Jordan, you will visit the fascinating Desert Castles, following in the footsteps of Lawrence of Arabia. You will become passionate about the archaeological revelations of many different eras: the Nabateans at Petra, the Romans at Jerash, the early Christians on Mount Nebo.
The landscape will always be different, always surprising. You will go by jeep into the desert, discover the settings of movies filmed in Wadi Rum, and feel weightless in the Dead Sea.
Some must-see stops on our travels:
Amra Castle a UNESCO World Heritage site famous for its frescoes and built at the beginning of the 8th century by the Umayyad Caliph al-Walid I.
Petra UNESCO Heritage. The 'Rose City' carved into the rock, one of the seven wonders of the modern world. It was created by the Nabateans about 2000 years ago.
Jerash UNESCO Heritage. The Pompeii of the East: an entire Roman city that remained intact for centuries under the sand.
Wadi Rum a UNESCO Heritage Site. The 'Valley of the Moon', a desert that has hosted human settlements since prehistoric times and has been the setting for unforgettable movies.

The best time to visit Jordan

In Jordan, the spring (March-May) and fall (September-November) are ideal times to visit historical sites like Petra and the Wadi Rum desert, avoiding the high summer temperatures and the winter cold. Summer can be very hot, especially in the south and in the east.
