The departure dates of each tour are associated with a status that is constantly updated. If you have booked a tour that has not yet been confirmed, you will receive a confirmation email once it is confirmed. We remind you that the departures of our organized trips are always guaranteed.
What is the average age on an organized trip?
People of all ages can participate in our organized trips. Since they are managed by our local partners, we do not have information on the average age of the participants.
Can I get to know my fellow travelers before the departure?
Yes! You can get to know your fellow travelers before departure by signing up for our Facebook group "Tramundi Travelers".
May I have more information about a tour of my interest?
You can find all the details of your trip on our website, on the page dedicated to the tour of your interest. If you would like more information, contact us, we will answer all your questions.
Do I need to pay a communal fee on site?
No, there is no provision for a common fund to be paid on site. The price of the package displayed on the website includes everything listed under the “Includes” section on the tour page you are interested in; anything listed under "Does Not Include" will be available for purchase on site personally. The only exception is for some of our boat tours which require the payment of a provision listed under "Does Not Include".

What does it mean that a shift is "almost confirmed"?
If a tour is "almost confirmed" it means that this trip is currently scheduled but we have not yet reached the minimum number of participants to guarantee its departure. If you have booked an "almost confirmed" tour, you will receive an email notification once it is confirmed. Book now: there might be a group of travelers just waiting for you to join them!
What happens if my tour is not confirmed?
If the tour is not confirmed for the selected departure date, you can choose to leave on another date or change the destination; we will contact you to guide you through the choice. If you do not wish to modify your booking, we will refund the total amount to the payment method used at the time of booking.
The tour I'm interested in is sold out. Can you help me?
If the tour you are interested in is "sold-out", contact us. We will strive to find a spot for you, or otherwise guide you in choosing valid alternatives based on your travel requests.

What is the average age on an organized trip?
People of all ages can participate in our organized trips. Since they are managed by our local partners, we do not have information on the average age of the participants.
How do I find out how many people have made a reservation?
We are not able to know the number of participants as it is a tour managed by our local partners. In any case, contact us, our customer care will be happy to provide you with more information, if possible.

Yes! You can get to know your fellow travelers before departure by signing up for our Facebook group "Tramundi Travelers".
Who are the local guides that accompany us on the trip?
During the trip, you will be accompanied by one of our local guides, meaning a native or someone with extensive knowledge of the place who will lead you in discovering the location. One thing is for sure: no one knows your destination better than our local guides!
Where do I meet my guide and travel group?
Depending on what is specified on the first day of your tour itinerary, you will meet your guide and travel group at the airport or at the hosting facility. We will take care to communicate the details regarding the time and meeting place before your departure.
May I have more information about a tour of my interest?

On every tour page, you'll find the “Intensity” badge indicating the physical effort required and the pace of the trip; most of our journeys are accessible to everyone and do not require special physical fitness. Remember to choose the tour that best suits you also based on its intensity.
Can I book extra nights?
Yes, it is possible to book extra nights through our customer service; contact us following your reservation to send us your request.
What should I do if I encounter a problem once I arrived at my destination?
If you are already at your destination, ask for help from your local guide, our local partner, or contact the operations center promptly, which is available 24 hours a day at the toll-free number 800/894123 (from abroad + 39/039/9890.702) to inform the insurance. We also ask you to contact us via email at supporto@tramundi.it, from which you will receive a response as soon as possible.
Who will I sleep with?
It depends on the type of room chosen during booking. The room can be shared with your travel partner or with other group members who have chosen to share their accommodation like you. Alternatively, you can request a single room with an additional charge when possible. Shared rooms are never mixed or with people outside the group except in rare cases (hostels, shelters, bivouacs).
I would like more information about my accommodation. Can you help me?
We will communicate the name of the host facility via email before your departure. The type of accommodation is already visible during the booking process. Contact us if you would like to receive more information about it.
Is my reservation confirmed after payment?
Immediately after your purchase, you will receive a booking confirmation email with all the details of your trip and a payment receipt email. Later, when your tour is confirmed, you will receive a departure confirmation email. To find out when your trip will be confirmed, you can also check the status of your tour directly on our website.
When will I receive the details regarding my trip?
You will receive all the useful information for your trip about a week before departure. In the meantime, you can find all the information about the tour of your interest directly on our website, on the dedicated page. Contact us for more information.
Can I also book flights with Tramundi?
We do not offer a flight booking service and/or other transfers to reach the destination in order to give you complete freedom to choose where, when, and how to depart. If you need support to book your flights, contact us and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
Can I obtain a tourist visa through Tramundi?
If your destination requires a tourist visa for entry, you can obtain your consular visa online at a discounted price on our partner's website, Visafy.
Do I need to be registered to complete the purchase?
No, you can complete your booking without being registered with Tramundi. However, we recommend that you register in order to manage your bookings and save your favorite tours in your personal area.
Can I book a private tour just for me and my friends?
Yes, it is possible to book a private tour just for you and your group of friends. In this case, you can also request customizations to make the trip of your dreams come true. Contact us to send us your private travel request.
Can I book for multiple people?
Certainly! When booking, you can specify the number of participants in the trip up to a maximum of 8 people per single reservation. Contact us to book for larger groups.

What should I do if I have a problem after booking?
If you can't find an answer to your questions in our FAQ and you haven't departed yet, contact us for assistance. If you are already at your destination, ask for help from your local guide, our local partner, or contact our 24-hour operational center promptly at the toll-free number 800/894123 (from abroad + 39/039/9890.702) to inform the insurance. We also ask you to contact us via email at supporto@tramundi.it, from which you will receive a response as soon as possible.
I have booked a tour but have not yet received the booking confirmation email. What should I do?
We recommend checking your spam folder, as the booking confirmation email might be hiding right there. If you haven't received the booking confirmation email yet, don't worry: we have received your request but are waiting to receive more information from our local partner before sending you the communication. You will soon receive your booking confirmation email!
I can't find a tour on the website. Can you help me?
To search for the tour of your interest on our website, you can use the convenient search bar; enter the keywords and filter the results according to your preferences. If the results do not meet your requests, contact us and we will find the most suitable travel solution for you.
I deleted the email with the payment receipt. Can you help me?
Sure, no problem! Contact us to receive a copy of the booking confirmation by email.
Can I pay for my trip in installments?
Yes, we offer several installment payment options. You can split your payment into two installments, a deposit and a balance (for bookings not close to departure): the deposit is immediate while the balance will be automatically withdrawn about 40 days before departure; the value of both installments is visible during the booking process. You can also split your payment into three monthly installments through Paypal, with the service that allows you to stagger payments over time without interest.

What payment options are accepted?
We accept all major international credit and debit cards, bank transfers (including offline) and PayPal payments, whom you can pay for your trip in installments with!
When will I be charged for the reservation?
The amount will be charged to the payment method selected at the time of booking. If the tour is not confirmed and you choose not to go with any of the proposed alternatives, the charged amount will be immediately refunded to the payment method from which it was taken without any additional costs. In the case of installment payments, the charge will be made according to the schedule provided by the chosen option.
How does Tramundi use my personal information?
Your personal information is safe with us. It is shared only with third parties who play an essential role in completing or providing the services purchased during booking, such as our local partners.

The possibility of modifying your reservation depends on the requested change and the availability of the travel service provider. Can I cancel my reservation?
Contact us if you wish to cancel your reservation. We recommend purchasing cancellation insurance at the time of booking in order to avoid, when possible, cancellation fees.
What is medical/luggage insurance? Is it included in my travel package?
Our medical insurance allows you to receive healthcare once you arrive at your destination; please refer to this page for more information.
Our luggage insurance protects you in case of potential accidents that may affect your suitcase; check out this page for more information.
Both insurances are included in the price of each of our travel packages.
How does extended health insurance work? What does extended health insurance cover? Does extended health insurance have a cost?
Within the limits of the maximum coverage per insured, the verified and documented medical expenses incurred during the trip will be reimbursed for urgent treatments or procedures.
Our medical insurance allows you to receive healthcare once you arrive at your destination: you will be reimbursed for medical expenses incurred on-site within the permitted limits, even in case of hospitalization.
The cost of the extended medical insurance is €55 and it covers expenses up to a maximum of €150,000.
What is cancellation insurance? Is it included in my travel package?
Our cancellation insurance protects you in the event of trip cancellation for valid reasons after the booking has been made; please refer to this page for more information. Our cancellation insurance can be purchased at the time of booking in addition to any of our travel packages at a cost of 5% of the total. Please note that the cancellation insurance is available only to residents of Italy.
What should I do if I have health problems while traveling?
Our local partners are ready to assist you at your destination. Should you need assistance, promptly contact the operations center, available 24/7, at the toll-free number 800/894123 (from abroad + 39/039/9890.702) to inform the insurance company, providing:
