Why travelling to Norway?

Nature: I'm going on a trip to Norway to see the Northern Lights. And you're doing well: whether it's September, October, or December, the northern lights put on their breathtaking show!
Culture: Experience Norwegian culture with our tours: meet the Sami people on your journey to the North Cape and learn the art of fishing in local fishing villages.
Food: Fish, fish, and more fish! We challenge you, you've never tasted salmon like this: lunch at the Bergen fish market and dinner with a view of the Svalbard islands.
Fauna: Reindeer, moose, bears, polar hares, and cute lemmings. Keep your eyes peeled during your ferry cruise through the Norwegian fjords, you might spot a seal!

The best time to visit Norway

Norway is spectacular in the summer (June-August) for the fjords and hiking under the midnight sun. Winter is ideal for seeing the northern lights and winter sports.

How to organize a trip to Norway?

Traveling alone in Norway is beautiful, but in a group and with a local guide it's even better! Traveling in Norway on a budget? It's possible thanks to our organized trips: at the time of booking you know the itinerary, what's included and what's not included. No surprises except for the Northern Lights appearing when you least expect it!

What should I know before travelling to Norway?

In Norway, it's cold, very cold. In winter, temperatures can drop to -40° and at 1,500 meters, you can already find perpetual snow. But don't worry: the right clothing for low temperatures and the beauty of the landscape will surely warm our hearts. Summers, on the other hand, are milder and preferable depending on the experience you want to have. The choice is yours: we are always ready to set off!

What to pack for a trip to Norway?

In your suitcase, especially during the winter period, you must never be without warm clothing such as long trousers, long-sleeved shirts, sweaters, fleece, and a windbreaker. The cold won't stop us from our nocturnal excursion to see the Northern Lights! In case of intense cold, we also recommend having thermal clothing (yes, even for underwear!). Whether it's summer or winter, don't forget the sunglasses which can also protect you from the snow. If you're traveling in the warmer seasons, you can also bring shorts and t-shirts but don't forget a raincoat in case of sudden weather changes during your excursions.

What do you need to travel to Norway?

Are you wondering what documents are needed to travel to Norway? You don't need a passport, a valid identity card for international travel is sufficient. Organizing a trip to Norway has never been so easy, with Tramundi! Passport is required for non-EU citizens.

Where to see seals in Norway?

Our quintessential naturalistic location is the Svalbard Islands: here you can encounter walruses, seals, and polar bears basking in the (midnight!) sun on the ice floes. But keep a sharp lookout during your ferry cruise through the Norwegian fjords, you might spot some specimens!

What to see in Norway in August?

If you're heading to Norway in August, here are our tips for making the most of your days. In the summer, bike to the Roykjafossen waterfall, climb to the top of Mount Floyen for a unique panoramic view of the city of Bergen, and watch the sunset from the roof of the Oslo Opera House, the capital of Norway. We said at the end of the day, not at the end of the holiday: how about continuing your adventure in Northern Europe with a trip to Sweden?
