The first stop of the day is Sidi Bou, a village of white houses with blue doors and windows; perched over 100 meters high, it offers spectacular views of the Mediterranean Sea. Next, we visit the UNESCO World Heritage archaeological site of Carthage: not to be missed is the amphitheater built around the 1st century AD and later rebuilt by the Romans, which today can accommodate about 30,000 visitors. After lunch, we return to Tunis to visit the National Bardo Museum located inside a castle in the old city; we then have some free time available to spend in the ancient Medina of Tunis. At the end of the excursion, we set off for Hammamet.
Breakfast, lunch, and dinner included. Transfers included. Excursions included.

day 3

Dougga archaeological site Tunisia

DOUGGA – KAIROUAN
