Upon arrival, we will be greeted by our English-speaking driver/guide who will take us to our lodge. After settling in, we will enjoy a relaxing lunch. In the afternoon, we will have the opportunity to visit the local Batwa community, where we can meet the locals and learn about their activities and lifestyles. This visit is optional. day 4

gorilla in Bwindi National Park

BWINDI IMPENETRABLE PARK

Today, early in the morning, we head towards the park headquarters (Uganda Wildlife Authority Park). Here, we will join the local guide and the 'trackers', experts in locating gorillas in the forest. We will begin our trek through the forest, which can be challenging depending on the gorillas' nocturnal movements. It is not uncommon for the trek to last more than 6 hours. The slippery terrain, the dense vegetation (we are in the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park) and the altitude (ranging from 1,160 to 2,607 meters above sea level) require good physical fitness. The Mountain Gorillas we will encounter in Uganda belong to well-defined groups. Daily permits are limited to 8 people per gorilla group. In recent years, the gorillas have adapted to human presence, allowing visitors to interact with them. It is important to carefully follow the guide's instructions to approach them safely. After the initial contact, we will have one hour to observe them. However, if the group shows signs of nervousness, the guide may decide to shorten the time for safety reasons. Remember that we are dealing with wild animals and sightings cannot be guaranteed, although we have recently had a 95% success rate. These primates are extremely rare, with only about 650 individuals remaining. At the end of this incredible experience, we will return to the lodge for a well-deserved rest.
Breakfast, lunch, and dinner included. Excursions included. Transfers included.

day 5

kibale forest national park

BWINDI - KIBALE FOREST NATIONAL PARK

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner included. Transfers included.

day 6

kibale forest national park

KIBALE FOREST NATIONAL PARK - ENTEBBE

We start the day with a delicious breakfast. Afterwards, we will head to the headquarters of the Park. There, we will receive a brief briefing from our local guides before starting a walking adventure. This hike will give us the opportunity to meet one of the chimpanzee families residing in the forest. This adventurous walk will last about three hours. Upon our return to the lodge, a tasty lunch awaits us. Later, we will depart for Entebbe, where we will arrive in the evening. We will settle into the hotel, have dinner at our choice and then rest for the night.
Breakfast and lunch included. Dinner not included. Transfers included. Excursions included.
