day 1

imposing temple

BANGKOK

Welcome to Thailand! Our journey begins at Bangkok-Suvarnabhumi International Airport. After collecting our luggage, our driver will take us to the hotel to drop off our bags. Our rooms will be ready from 2:00 PM. In the afternoon and evening, we will explore Bangkok, immersing ourselves in its vibrant nightlife. We will use public transportation such as the BTS Skytrain or the MRT (Metropolitan Rapid Transit) to get to the Chao Praya River. From there, we will skirt the old city up to the Rama VIII bridge. In a tuk tuk, we will arrive at the Marble Temple, clad in Carrara white marble. After the visit, still by tuk tuk, we will reach Wat Saket, the only city temple on top of a hill in the center of the old city, where the statues of the 8 main Buddhas are located. From a panoramic viewpoint, we will notice the contrast between the old city with 3 or 4-story buildings and the new part with skyscrapers. Through a navigable canal under the temple, we will arrive at the Jim Thompson House. Jim Thompson, the owner, helped to revive the local silk industry and, according to some, was a secret agent. He disappeared in 1967 during a trip to Malaysia. Today his house is a museum. After the visit, we will dive into the Pratunam market, full of colorful stalls, and visit the MBK Center shopping mall. Finally, we will return to the hotel for the overnight stay.
The meeting with the group is scheduled for 14:00. We recommend booking your flight to arrive in Bangkok in the morning to start the tour. Contact us to arrange an additional night before the tour begins. Lunch and dinner are on your own. Transfers included. Excursions included.

day 2

river market

BANGKOK

We continue our journey in Thailand with a stop in Bangkok. The city is famous for its floating markets, many of which are located just a few hours away from the capital. The most famous is Damnoen Saduak, situated in the Ratchaburi province, about 110 km from Bangkok. These markets, brimming with vibrant colors and the lively chatter of vendors and buyers, are crowded with canoes laden with tropical fruits and vegetables ready to be sold to customers along the banks. The atmosphere is always bustling, haggling is part of the fun, but don't expect huge discounts! We will leave your hotel in Bangkok at 07:00. Our first stop will be the Railway Market at Maeklong, known for its stalls of fresh produce that extend onto the train tracks and are quickly moved at the train's passage. From there, we will head to the floating market, where we will take a small boat to dive into the heart of the action and shop directly from the water. In the afternoon, we will return to Bangkok and sail along the Chao Praya River on a typical long tail boat, entering the city through the Thonburi canal. From this unique perspective, we will be able to admire the city's main temples along the river. Some neighborhoods are still built on stilts along the canals, offering a glimpse into the daily life of the river's inhabitants. We will conclude our tour at Wat Arun, also known as the Temple of Dawn, dedicated to the Hindu deity Aruna. After the visit, we will return to the hotel for a free evening. The overnight stay will be at a hotel in Bangkok.
Breakfast included at the hotel. Lunch at a local restaurant included. Dinner on your own. Transfers included. Excursions included.

BANGKOK - AYUTTHAYA - KAMPHAENG PHET - SUKHOTHAI

We begin our journey from our cozy hotel in Bangkok, heading towards the ancient capital of Siam, Ayutthaya. This historic city, founded in 1350, is named after Ayodhya, the abode of Rama in the epic poem Ramayana. Today, its ruins blend with the modern buildings of the city. We will visit the main temples, including Wat Mahathat, one of the largest in Ayutthaya, and Wat Phra Sri Sanphet, located within the royal palace. Its three chedis have been restored and offer a fascinating contrast to the surrounding ruins. We will not miss visiting the Viharn Phra Mongkol Bophit, which houses one of the largest golden bronze Buddhas in Thailand. From there, we will continue to Kamphaeng Phet, a city built by the Sukhothai dynasty (1347-1368), the first true Thai kingdom. We will arrive in Sukhothai in the evening, after a lunch on the road. Dinner will be at your choice and overnight stay will be at a hotel.
Breakfast included at the hotel. Lunch at a local restaurant included. Dinner not included. Transfers included. Excursions included.

day 4

From there, we will head towards Chiang Rai, stopping at Lampang to admire the famous Wat Phra That Lampang Luang temple, one of the most important sanctuaries in northern Thailand. We will arrive in Chiang Rai in the evening, after a lunch on the road. Dinner will be at your choice and overnight stay will be at a hotel.

We will start our day with a visit to the picturesque village of the Mae Chan tribe. From there, we will head towards the famous Golden Triangle, once known as the heart of opium production. Here, we will have the opportunity to visit the Opium Museum. Afterwards, we will follow the course of the Mekong River, where we can admire the meeting point of the borders of three countries: Thailand, Laos, and Myanmar. In the afternoon, we will return to Chiang Rai to visit Wat Rong Khun, more commonly known as the White Temple. From there, we will continue our journey towards Chiang Mai, where we will arrive in the evening. During the excursion, we will stop for lunch. In the afternoon, we look forward to visiting the Wat Prathat Doi Suthep temple, located on the top of Doi Suthep mountain, from where you can enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view of the city.
