Touch down at Catania Airport and, after retrieving your luggage, you have the option to join a group transfer to our hotel. There are no scheduled activities for the day, so feel free to explore the city at your leisure. Your room will be ready for you after 14:00. You'll find the itinerary for your stay at the hotel. Enjoy a delightful dinner and a restful night's sleep.

ETNA - TAORMINA

Join us for a delightful breakfast at the hotel before we embark on an exciting journey to Mt. Etna, Sicily's highest peak and Europe's most active volcano. As we traverse the 'Park of Etna', one of Italy's largest protected areas, you'll be captivated by the diverse vegetation and landscapes. Our destination is the 'Silvestri Craters', situated approximately 1,900 meters above sea level. Here, you have the option to further explore by jeep and cableway (additional charges apply). After savoring some local Sicilian delicacies, we'll return to the hotel. Optionally, you can join us for a stroll through the enchanting town of Taormina. As we wander, you'll learn about Sicilian history and culture, pass by the 15th-century Palazzo Corvaja, and visit an ancient Greek Roman theatre, the second largest in Sicily (entry fee not included). We'll also explore the town's medieval area, with its narrow streets and quaint shops. After a day full of adventure, we'll enjoy a delicious dinner and a restful night at the hotel.

Our journey continues to the Island of Ortigia, the city's oldest core, where we'll admire its breathtaking cathedral. ERICE - RISERVA DELLO STAGNONE - MARSALA

Join us for a delightful breakfast at our hotel before we set off for Erice, a charming medieval town perched atop Monte San Giuliano. Here, we'll marvel at the exterior of the Norman Castle and the Cathedral. Along the way, we'll pause at a local confectionery to savor Erice's signature almond pastry. Our journey continues to Marsala, where we'll visit the Riserva dello Stagnone. This enchanting locale boasts a stunning natural landscape, characterized by its unique white salt pans and windmills. Marsala, renowned for its wine production, is our next stop. We'll tour a local winery and indulge in a wine tasting session. As the day winds down, we'll return to our hotel for a relaxing evening. A sumptuous dinner awaits, followed by an overnight stay in Palermo.

PALERMO - MONREALE

Start your day with a delightful breakfast at the hotel. Our journey begins at Palermo, with our first stop at the majestic Teatro Massimo. As we stroll through the vibrant 'u Capo' local market, we'll indulge in some Sicilian delicacies like the savory Arancina or the zesty 'AUTISTA' lemonade. Our next destination is the awe-inspiring Cathedral, home to numerous priceless artworks, including the altar of the crucifix and the 17th-century ciborium adorned with lapis lazuli. We'll also explore the Treasury rooms filled with sacred silverware and other artifacts. Our walk continues to 'I Quattro canti'. From there, we'll head to Monreale, a charming town nestled on the slopes of Monte Caputo, overlooking Palermo. Once known for its abundant citrus orchards in the fertile La Conca d’Oro valley, Monreale is now famous for its Cathedral, a masterpiece of Norman architecture. During our tour, we'll enjoy a tasting of the delicious 'arancina'. Our day concludes with a drive to the Taormina area, where we'll have dinner and settle in for the night.

TAORMINA - GODFATHER TOUR

Opòtion 1: Start your day with a delightful breakfast at the hotel. The day is yours to enjoy as you please. You could unwind and soak up the city's charm, take a refreshing dip at the beach, or opt for our special boat excursion 'Taormina coast to coast by boat'. This tour offers a unique opportunity to appreciate the stunning natural beauty of the Giardini/Naxos – Taormina coastline. We'll meet at the Giardini Naxos port and embark on our journey in a cozy, traditional boat (max. 12 persons), exploring the mesmerizing Ionian Coast. From here, you'll get an awe-inspiring view of Mount Etna and its surrounding spectacular sights. Along the way, you'll encounter caves, including a visit to the famous 'Grotta Azzurra' (subject to weather conditions and currents), intriguing rock formations, and the exquisite Nature Reserve of Isola Bella. Alternatively, you could choose to have a daily Hop on Hop off ticket! After a day full of adventures, enjoy a sumptuous dinner and a restful overnight stay at the hotel.
Option 2: Start your day with a delightful breakfast at the hotel before we set off for Forza D'Agrò. This enchanting hilltop village offers stunning views over Taormina. We'll take a cinematic tour, visiting locations made famous by the iconic film, The Godfather. As we stroll through the narrow streets of this quaint town, you'll be captivated by the breathtaking vistas, the Durazzesco arch, and the Cathedral. This was the setting for one of The Godfather's most romantic scenes - Micheal Corleone's wedding. From the Panoramic Square, you'll be treated to an extraordinary coastal view. After soaking up the charm of Forza D'Agrò, we'll continue to Savoca. This village is renowned for its role in The Godfather, directed by Francis Ford Coppola. The film's landmarks, including the famous Bar Vitelli, remain intact. After a day filled with cinematic history, we'll return to the hotel for a restful night.
