Join us on a journey to Lucca, a city renowned for its hundred churches and stunning medieval walls. Access the historic heart of the city through one of its seven gates. As we stroll through the city, we'll encounter the 'Amphitheater' marketplace, a testament to Lucca's Roman roots. Don't miss the San Michele Square, home to the Church of San Michele in Foro and Palazzo Pretorio. Indulge in the local 'Buccellato Cake' at a Pasticceria right in the San Michele Square. We'll end our day with a restful night in either Montecarlo or Pistoia.

FLORENCE

Today, we're embarking on a journey to the world's largest art capital: Florence. A staggering one-third of Italy's art treasures are nestled in the heart of the Tuscan capital. Our first stop is Santa Croce, Italy's grandest Franciscan church, known as the final resting place of many notable Italian figures from history, art, and literature. Next, we'll marvel at the Palazzo Vecchio in Piazza della Signoria, home to Michelangelo's David replica. We'll also explore the octagonal Baptistery dedicated to San Giovanni, Florence's patron saint, and the Palazzo Medici-Riccardi, the first palace of the early Renaissance in Florence. For lunch, we'll savor authentic Italian pizza paired with beer and ice cream at a charming restaurant in central Florence. We'll end our day with an overnight stay in either Montecarlo or Pistoia. Join us for this unforgettable journey into the heart of Italian art and culture.

Start your day with a hearty breakfast before we set off to explore the enchanting Castles of Chianti. Our journey includes a self-guided tour of the lush Gardens of the Castle of Brolio in Chianti, where you'll also enjoy a glass of wine in the castle's wine cellar. Please note, the Castle itself is off-limits as it's the residence of Baron Ricasoli.
Next, we'll visit Greve in Chianti, a charming town that serves as the gateway to the Chianti region due to its central location between Florence and Siena. Immerse yourself in the rustic charm of this small town, with its bustling square serving as the heart of the city. Don't miss the weekly market held every Saturday in the square. We'll conclude the day with an overnight stay in either Siena or Asciano.

SIENA

Embark on a journey to the stunning city of Siena. Join us on a journey to the enchanting medieval town of San Gimignano, a UNESCO World Heritage site that has remained untouched since the 14th Century. This charming Tuscan town is a popular destination, offering a glimpse into the past. Here, you'll have the unique opportunity to create your own pasta during a hands-on cooking course.
Next, we'll stop at the beautifully preserved medieval town of Monteriggioni. Founded in the 13th Century, this town sits atop a small hill, surrounded by a 600m long wall. The quaint houses and narrow streets transport you back in time, making Monteriggioni a truly magical experience. We'll end our day with an overnight stay in either Siena or Asciano.

MONTEPULCIANO - MONTALCINO

Join us for a delightful breakfast before we embark on a journey to Montepulciano, a town perched on a high tufa plateau, renowned for its Vino Nobile di Montepulciano wine. We'll indulge in a wine tasting session in a traditional wine cellar in Montepulciano. In the afternoon, we'll explore Montalcino, globally recognized for its exquisite Brunello wine, or Pienza, a picturesque village celebrated as the Renaissance's ideal city. We'll conclude the day with an overnight stay in either Siena or Asciano.

THE SAN GALGANO ABBEY IN CHIUSDINO

Join us after breakfast for a journey to one of Tuscany's most captivating sights. Our first stop is a mesmerizing monastery, home to a vast, roofless church: San Glalgano Abbey in Chiusdino. Next, we'll explore the Hermitage of Monte Siepi, the retreat of San Galgano around 1170. Here, you'll witness the legendary sword embedded in stone, a symbol of peace that still stands today. This sight transports us back to the Arthurian Saga. The grand Abbey nearby holds more surprises, revealing 'musical' and 'Egyptian' elements through its Sacred Geometry. We'll conclude our day with an overnight stay in either Siena or Asciano, depending on your preference.

Once you've enjoyed your breakfast, we'll be heading home. But not before we take a detour to the renowned Pisa. It's best known for its Square of Miracles, a place that's sure to leave you in awe. The Cathedral, with its stunning marble façade, decorated with columns and statues, is a sight to behold. And of course, we can't forget the Leaning Tower, a structure that's as unique as it is impressive. This marks the end of our tour.
