Splendid tour of Namibia

Welcome to Namibia. From Windhoek, we travel through the Kalahari Desert, a vast semi-desert that is home to an astonishing variety of wildlife specially adapted to the environment. Enjoy the view from the red dunes, the desert's fauna and flora on an optional nature walk. Overnight stay in the Kalahari region.

Our tour of Namibia continues as we travel south through arid, rocky plains to the Garas quiver tree forest and the Giants' Playground. We enjoy the serenity of this timeless space before heading to our lodge, near the Fish River Canyon. There's the option to explore the area on foot or to take part in a guided nature excursion.

We start the morning by admiring the Fish River Canyon, the second largest canyon in the world. We continue past the Naute Dam, with an optional stop at the Naute Kristall Cellar & Distillery for a tasting. We proceed to the coastal town of Lüderitz with a stop at Garub, a scenic viewpoint for observing the wild horses of the Namib Desert. Overnight in Lüderitz.

In the morning we visit the ghost town of Kolmanskop, an abandoned diamond mining town in the Sperrgebiet National Park, which offers unique photographic opportunities. The journey continues across vast open plains, stopping for an optional light lunch in the small town of Helmeringhausen before proceeding north, along the Tiras mountain range, to the lodge in the Namib desert.

We venture into the Namib-Naukluft National Park at sunrise to capture its surreal landscapes. An optional walk on one of the majestic dunes is available. We explore the Deadvlei and the Sesriem Canyon, a natural phenomenon in the Namib desert.

After breakfast, we continue to Solitaire before crossing the desolate Kuiseb Valley to Walvis Bay. We visit the shallow lagoon, a RAMSAR World Heritage site, home to thousands of flamingos. We then proceed to Swakopmund and spend the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight in Swakopmund for the next 2 nights.

Let's embrace the relaxed pace of this idyllic coastal town. Browse through its numerous cafes or explore the rugged surroundings with a day tour or a scenic flight. As the "playground" of Namibia, Swakopmund offers a wide array of adventures such as skydiving, quad biking, and sandboarding (optional and for a fee).

After breakfast we return to Windhoek. Our journey in Namibia ends here. Until the next tour!
