sea and cliffs in alghero

ALGHERO - CAPO CACCIA - BAIA DI PORTO CONTE

Start your day with a delightful breakfast at the hotel. Today, we have the freedom to unwind and discover the nearby areas at our own pace. We can take a refreshing dip at the beach or plan a visit to Alghero, Capo Caccia, and Baia di Porto Conte. Here's a suggested itinerary: Let's drive to Alghero and explore the historical center with its walls and Spanish towers, the Church of San Francesco, the Cathedral, and the Bousquet walk. We could also opt for a boat excursion to the Grotte di Nettuno, departing from the port of Alghero. Next, we can drive up to the promontory of Capo Caccia and at the bay of Porto Conte for a panoramic excursion. On our way back, we recommend stopping at Palmavera Nuraghe for a visit. Finally, we drive back to our hotel for a restful night. Overnight in the hotel.

COSTA SMERALDA - PORTO CERVO - PORTO ROTONDO

Start your day with a delightful breakfast at our hotel. The day is yours to enjoy as you please. You could unwind on the beach, take a dip in the crystal-clear waters, or explore the stunning Costa Smeralda. We suggest a visit to the remarkable 'Il Nurago la Prisgiona' in Arzachena. This Bronze Age round tower is one of 7000, a testament to a unique megalithic culture that's a significant part of Sardinia's rich archaeological heritage. From there, journey to the enchanting mountain village of San Pantaleo, known for its captivating granite formations. We'll pause here for a quick photo stop before heading to Baia Sardinia, a sought-after destination in Costa Smeralda, renowned for its breathtaking beaches. As we traverse the scenic route of Costa Smeralda, you'll discover numerous emerald-hued sand bays that inspired founder Karim Aga Khan to transform this coastal strip into a renowned and exclusive jet-set holiday paradise. Our final stop is Porto Cervo, the stylish capital where you can explore high-end boutiques, dine at exclusive restaurants, and admire the expansive marina. After a day filled with exploration, return to the comfort of your hotel for a restful night's sleep.
Breakfast included. Free lunch and dinner. Excursions not included. Transfers with your rental car included.

day 4

panoramic view of corsica

CORSICA

Start your day with a delightful breakfast at the hotel. The day is yours to enjoy as you please. You could unwind on the beach, take a refreshing swim, or explore the local area. Alternatively, we suggest a captivating journey to the harbour of Santa Teresa di Gallura, located at the northernmost tip of Sardinia. From here, embark on a 45-minute ferry ride to Bonifacio, with a scenic 13 km seaway separating the two islands of Corsica and Sardinia. Bonifacio, like many harbour cities, boasts a rich history. This ancient commercial city, established between 823 and 833 by the marquis of Tuscany, is divided into the 'Marina' quarter, the lower city, and the 'upper city' perched on a promontory. From here, you can soak in the breathtaking panorama, and on clear days, even catch a glimpse of the Sardinian coast. A tourist train will transport you to the upper part for a guided walking tour lasting about an hour. Afterward, take the ferry back to Santa Teresa and return to your hotel. Enjoy a restful night's sleep at the hotel, ready for another day of adventure.
Breakfast included. Free lunch and dinner. Excursions not included. Transfers with your rental car included.

SANT’ANTIOCO DI BISARCIO - BARUMINI - CAGLIARI

We'll start our day with a hearty breakfast at the hotel before setting off. Our first destination is Sant’Antioco di Bisarcio, home to one of Sardinia's largest Romanesque churches. This architectural marvel, built from volcanic rock and standing at a height of ten metres, is a testament to the island's rich Romanesque heritage. Its various construction phases and stunning scenic location make it a must-visit. Next, we'll journey to Barumini to explore the Nuraghe Su Nuraxi. This archaeological site houses the remnants of prehistoric defensive structures. Perched at an altitude of 238 m, it's one of the best-preserved megalithic monument sites in Europe. The iconic nuraghe, a type of cyclopean construction characterized by its truncated conical tower made of megaliths, is a symbol of Sardinia. Our day concludes with a trip to Cagliari, where we'll spend the night.
Breakfast included. Free lunch and dinner. Excursions not included. Transfers with your rental car included.

cagliari from above

CAGLIARI - SANTA MARGHERITA DI PULA

Start your day with a delightful breakfast at our hotel. Today, you have the freedom to unwind and discover the nearby areas, take a dip in the beach, or make a trip to Cagliari. We suggest an early start to your day and a drive to Cagliari, Sardinia's capital. Imagine sipping espresso on the stone-paved streets, feeling like you've travelled back to the second century AD as you tour the Roman amphitheatre. Don't miss out on the Cattedrale di Santa Maria del Castello and the golden Royal Palazzi. Our top pick here is the Torre dell’Elefante – ascend to the top for the most stunning views of the city and the sea. In the afternoon, plan an excursion to Santa Margherita di Pula. Established in the medieval era and expanded in the 18th century, it's renowned for the archaeological site of Nora, dating back to the Phoenician and Roman periods. Known for its gorgeous beaches, it has become a significant tourist spot. Continue your journey to Cagliari. Spend the night at our hotel.
Breakfast included. Free lunch and dinner. Excursions not included. Transfers with your rental car included.

OLBIA

After a hearty breakfast at your hotel, we'll set off for either Cagliari or Olbia airport. If you're heading to Olbia, we recommend a detour through the Supramonte area to visit Mount Tiscali and a prehistoric village. Alternatively, we can journey south on the SS125, a winding road that cuts through the mountains, offering breathtaking views of the Gulf of Orosei and Sardinia's eastern coast. Our first stop will be the prehistoric village of Serra Orrios in the Dorgali area, where we'll explore the subterranean trails of the Ispingoli grottes. Next, we'll visit the coastal town of Santa Maria Navarrese – a perfect spot for a refreshing sea dip! We'll then drive to Olbia airport, return the car, and conclude our services. Grazie e arrivederci!
