Other highlights include the octagonal Baptistery dedicated to San Giovanni, Florence's patron saint, and the Palazzo Medici-Riccardi, Florence's first early Renaissance palace. For lunch, we'll savor authentic Italian pizza, beer, and ice cream at a charming restaurant in Florence's heart. We'll spend the night in either Siena or Asciano.
