Join us on a journey to Lucca, the city renowned for its hundred churches and magnificent medieval city walls. Access the historic heart of the city through one of its seven gates. As we stroll through the city, we'll encounter the 'Amphitheater' marketplace, a testament to the city's Roman roots. Don't miss the chance to admire the San Michele Square, home to the Church of San Michele in Foro and Palazzo Pretorio. We'll conclude our day with a restful night in either Siena or Asciano.

Join us on a journey to the enchanting medieval town of San Gimignano, a UNESCO World Heritage site that has remained untouched since the 14th century. This charming Tuscan town is a popular destination, known for its unique character and beauty. While there, don't miss out on the opportunity to taste the World Champion Ice Cream in the heart of San Gimignano.
Next, we'll stop at the well-preserved medieval town of Monteriggioni. Founded in the 13th century, this town is nestled on a small hill and surrounded by a 600m long wall. The quaint houses and narrow streets give you a sense of stepping back in time. We'll end our day with an overnight stay in either Siena or Asciano.

Join us after breakfast for a morning exploration of the Chianti Castles. We'll take you on a self-guided tour of the Brolio Castle's gardens in Chianti, where you'll also enjoy a glass of wine from the castle's own cellar. Please note, the castle itself is off-limits as it's the home of Baron Ricasoli. Next, we'll visit Greve in Chianti, a charming town that serves as the gateway to the Chianti region due to its central location between Florence and Siena. Immerse yourself in the rustic charm of the town, with its bustling square that still hosts a weekly market every Saturday. Your day will end with an overnight stay in either Siena or Asciano.

MONTEPULCIANO - MONTALCINO

Join us for a delightful breakfast before we embark on a journey to Montepulciano, a town perched on a high tufa plateau, renowned for its exquisite wine, the Vino Nobile di Montepulciano. We'll indulge in a wine tasting session in a traditional wine cellar in Montepulciano. In the afternoon, we'll explore Montalcino, globally recognized for its superior wine, Brunello, or Pienza, a captivating village celebrated as the ideal city of the Renaissance. We'll conclude the day with an overnight stay in either Siena or Asciano.

THE SAN GALGANO ABBEY IN CHIUSDINO

Join us after breakfast for a journey to one of Tuscany's most captivating sights. Our first stop is a mesmerizing monastery, home to a vast, roofless church: San Galgano Abbey. Next, we'll explore the Hermitage of Monte Siepi, the retreat of San Galgano around 1170. Here, you'll witness the legendary sword embedded in stone, a symbol of peace that still stands today. This sight transports us back to the Arthurian Saga. The grand Abbey nearby holds more surprises, revealing 'musical' and 'Egyptian' elements through its Sacred Geometry. We'll conclude our day with an overnight stay in the charming city of Siena.

Today, we're embarking on a journey to the world's largest art capital: Florence. A staggering one-third of Italy's art treasures reside in the Tuscan capital. We'll visit Santa Croce, Italy's largest Franciscan church, known as the final resting place of significant figures from Italian history, art, and literature. We'll also marvel at the Palazzo Vecchio in Piazza della Signoria, home to Michelangelo's David replica. Other highlights include the octagonal Baptistery dedicated to San Giovanni, Florence's patron saint, and the Palazzo Medici-Riccardi, Florence's first early Renaissance palace. For lunch, we'll savor authentic Italian pizza, beer, and ice cream at a local restaurant in the heart of Florence. We'll spend the night in either Siena or Asciano.
