LANGHE

Embark on a journey with us post-breakfast, heading south on State Road 231. Our first stop is Alba, the heart of the Langhe region. This town boasts a medieval structure, towers, and tower-houses, all enveloped in a captivating 19th-century ambiance. As we continue south, we'll encounter Grinzane Cavour. Here, we'll indulge in a tasting of Piedmontese wines at 'La Cantina del Conte'. Our journey then takes us along the ridges of the hills that form 'Le Langhe' (the thinned crest of a hill chain). We'll explore La Morra, a medieval town with a stunning viewpoint, and Barolo, the birthplace of the famous wine bearing its name. We'll conclude our day with an overnight stay in a comfortable hotel.

ASTI

Start your day with a delightful breakfast at our hotel. Today, we'll explore the medieval city of Asti and the Langa Astigiana. Asti, known for its truncated towers painted in brick-red and tuff-yellow, is a testament to its deep-rooted connection with the land and its wine production. We suggest visiting the Collegiate Church of San Secondo, the Baptistery of San Pietro, and Palazzo Alfieri. In the afternoon, we'll follow the route through Isola d'Asti, Nizza Monferrato Canelli, Castiglione Tinella, Castagnole Lanze, and Castiglione D'Asti, immersing ourselves in the heartland of Moscato d'Asti production. We'll enjoy a tasting session in a traditional cellar. As the day concludes, we'll savor a typical dinner at a local restaurant and then retire for the night at our hotel.

In Monterosso, we'll have the chance to sample the local D.O.C. white wine at a charming wine shop. As the day winds down, we'll enjoy a delicious dinner at a traditional restaurant. Perched on a hill overlooking the Val D'Elsa, San Gimignano offers a remarkable glimpse into Tuscany's medieval urban planning. Our journey continues to Colle Val d'Elsa, a vibrant manufacturing hub, and Monteriggioni, a quaint village nestled in the serene Sienese hills, known for its well-preserved medieval military architecture. We'll also have the opportunity to taste local wines at a nearby winery. Upon arrival in Siena, we'll check into our hotel and explore the Palazzo Pubblico and the Duomo.
