TAORMINA

Upon your arrival at Catania Airport and after retrieving your luggage, we'll facilitate a group transfer to your hotel. There are no scheduled activities for the day, so feel free to explore the city at your leisure. Your rooms will be available post 14:00. Detailed information about the program will be provided at the hotel. Enjoy a restful overnight stay.

ETNA

Join us for breakfast at the hotel before we embark on an exciting journey to Mt. Etna, Sicily's highest peak and Europe's most active volcano. As we traverse the 'Park of Etna', one of Italy's largest protected areas, you'll be amazed by the diverse vegetation and landscapes we encounter on our way to the 'Silvestri Craters' (approximately 1,900 mt). From this point, you have the option to further explore by jeep and cableway (additional charges apply). After indulging in some local Sicilian delicacies, we'll return to the hotel. If you've booked dinner, it will be served, followed by an overnight stay.

SYRACUSE

Join us for breakfast at the hotel before we set off for Syracuse, a captivating archaeological site on the island. We'll explore the Archeological Park (additional cost), the Roman Amphitheatre, the Greek Theatre, and the intriguing Ear of Dionysus. We'll also visit the Cave of the Cordari and the Island of Ortigia, the city's oldest core, where we'll marvel at the breathtaking cathedral. After a day of discovery, we'll return to the hotel for a restful night's sleep.

AGRIGENTO

Start your day with a delightful breakfast at the hotel. Then, join us as we set off for Agrigento to explore the enchanting Valley of the Temples. Here, you'll marvel at the Temple of Juno, the Temple of Concorde, which is one of the best-preserved Doric temples in the entire Greek world, the Temple of Hercules, and the Temple of Castor and Pollux. After a day filled with awe-inspiring sights, we'll return to our hotel in Letojanni for a restful night's sleep.

The excursion to Agrigento requires a minimum of 12 pax to be issued.

TAORMINA

Start your day with a delightful breakfast at the hotel. Then, consider joining our optional excursion, 'Taormina coast to coast by boat'. This adventure will take you on a journey to explore the stunning natural beauty of the Giardini/Naxos-Taormina coastline. We'll meet at the Giardini Naxos port and embark on our voyage in a cozy, traditional boat (max. 12 persons). As we navigate the Ionian Coast, you'll be treated to spectacular views of Mount Etna and other awe-inspiring sights. Along the way, we'll explore caves, including the famous 'Grotta Azzurra' (subject to weather conditions and currents), intriguing rock formations, and the exquisite Nature Reserve of Isola Bella. In the afternoon, we've arranged a tasting of three Etna wine varieties for you, accompanied by local cold cuts, cheeses, bruschetta, and traditional foods. This will take place from 06:00 pm to 07:00 pm. After a day filled with exploration and indulgence, you'll spend the night at the hotel.

LIPARI - VULCANO ISLAND

Join us for breakfast at the hotel before we embark on a journey to the Aeolian islands, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2000. We'll travel by bus to the port of Milazzo, and from there, we'll take a private motorboat to the island of Lipari. Here, we'll have a chance to explore the old town, including the archaeological park and the cathedral. You'll also have some free time to shop at the local stores on the island. We'll then get back on the boat and sail past the 'Faraglioni' and the 'Horse’s Cave'. Our next stop is the island of Vulcano, where you'll have the opportunity to take a sulfurous mud bath in a dedicated area (entrance fee not included). Please note, these mud baths are not suitable for pregnant women or children. We'll return by sea, sailing along the coast and viewing the 'Rock of the Little Mermaid'. Please be aware that an eco-tax is payable on board the bus and is not included in the price. We'll then spend the night at the hotel.

GODFATHER TOUR

Start your day with a delightful breakfast at the hotel before we set off for Forza D'Agrò. This enchanting hilltop village offers stunning views over Taormina. We'll take a cinematic tour, visiting locations made famous by the iconic film, The Godfather. As we stroll through the narrow streets of this quaint town, you'll be captivated by the breathtaking vistas, the Durazzesco arch, and the Cathedral. This sacred place was chosen as the setting for one of The Godfather's most romantic scenes - the wedding of Micheal Corleone. From the Panoramic Square, you'll be treated to an extraordinary coastal view. After soaking up the charm of Forza D'Agrò, we'll continue to Savoca. This village is renowned for its role in The Godfather, directed by Francis Ford Coppola. The film's landmarks, including the famous Bar Vitelli, remain intact. After a day filled with cinematic history, we'll return to the hotel for a restful night. Our journey promises to be a memorable one, blending culture, history, and the magic of the movies.
