Welcome to Barcelona, where the fabulous Catalan cuisine, an innovative art scene, Gothic architecture, and non-stop nightlife are just a few of the many highlights! Our adventure begins with a welcome meeting at 7:00 PM. After the meeting, we can choose to go out for a group dinner or to admire the city's beauty: the Picasso Museum, Las Ramblas, Montjuic for a breathtaking view of the city. Don't miss Gaudí's Sagrada Familia!

PAMPLONA
Our journey continues by train to Pamplona, the heart of the Basque Country (about 4.5 hours). Upon arrival in Pamplona, we set off for an orientation walk and get acquainted with this well-preserved fortified medieval city. The evening is free.

Today, we're taking a bus to the beautiful seaside city of San Sebastian, a jewel of the Basque Country (about 1 hour travel). With its family-friendly beaches and vibrant old town, San Sebastian is a fantastic place to stroll along the promenade, go shopping, or simply soak up the sun.

A day dedicated to leisure time to explore San Sebastian or to take a local bus and reach Bilbao within an hour's journey, and visit the Guggenheim Museum, world-renowned and architecturally sublime, is a must-see. In the evening, it might be a good idea to enjoy another night of delicious food. San Sebastian is home to some of the world's finest restaurants, the most experimental chefs, and a unique culinary culture that you can't miss!

LOGROÑO
Today we take a public bus journey to the esteemed vineyards of the wine region of Rioja and Logrono (about 2 hours). The city is located on the banks of the Ebro River and is the capital of the most renowned wine region of Spain. The city is rich in history and traditions, preserved since the Middle Ages. It also boasts one of the most illustrious culinary traditions of the county, home to some of the best tapas bars in all of Spain, all crammed into its small medieval center. After checking into our accommodation for tonight, the rest of the day is free.

Please note that our accommodation in Logrono is a hostel (similar to a guesthouse), located on the upper floors of an apartment building. There is no elevator, so you will need to be able to carry your luggage up and down the stairs. Make sure to pack accordingly.

LOGROÑO
Logrono is renowned for its Spanish wine industry, with a winemaking tradition that dates back to the early Phoenician settlers in the 11th century BC. Today, we're visiting a local winery to taste wines made from the indigenous grapes of La Rioja, including Garnacha, Tempranillo, Viura, and Malvasia. Depending on the season, we'll explore the wine museum and if the weather is on our side, we'll take a stroll through the enchanting vineyards!

Traveling by bus or train to Madrid this morning, which should take between 4 and 5 hours. Upon arrival, after checking into the hotel, we set off for an orientation walk. There's so much to do and see in Madrid: the Paseo del Arte (Art Walk) offers a sweeping overview of the history of Western art, the pristine gardens of the Real Jardin Botanico, the Reina Sofia Museum, and the Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum.
